Today it's 65 years ago that the United States of America, by executive order of President Harry S. Truman, dropped the nuclear weapon "Little Boy" on the city of Hiroshima.
on August 6, 1945, at 8:15 am, Hiroshima became the first city in history that was destroyed by a nuclear weapon.

The inauguration of the President of the United States occurs upon the commencement of a new term of a President of the United States.

The most sad thing is the arrest of Jews in Paris and the transportation of Jews from the Netherlands to extermination camp. Unbelievable that it happened on the same day!
