YAY Slovakia is in!! And Finland and Sweden!! Now i'm sure to have three amazing NL to watch.. Also Belgium as Flanders usually has a great NF I'm really looking forward for that.. Surprisingly, Switzerland, Belgium and the Netherlands who don't care much for esc and who are very unfairly sometimes voted out of the NF years after years are already confirmed! But hey, we never know (look at Georgia 09).. oh my, where is France? i'm scared we might leave too..

ps to remy : all singers still sing live, that's the biggest esc rule ever (well sakis found a poor guy to do the singing for him but hey..)

When Svetlana Loboda was playing the drums I thought that I heard her singing, but she didn't move her lips.

Several places are being pointed out as the possible venues for Eurovision 2010 in Norway:

The two known ones are two in the capital, Oslo

- the Oslo spektrum (8.000)

Venue of the eurovision song contest 1996, it's capacity was a record at that time, but it can look a bit modest for today's standards




- Telenor arena (20.000)

the most probable one, as it has a bigger capacity




However, it must be pointed out that other cities like Tromso, Bergen, Hammar, Lillehammer, Stavanger or Trodheim have manifestated their will to host it.

Some people here are claiming that spain has to withdraw from esc after what happened to Soraya, so I don't know what will happen with us next year  :shrug:

well Ukraine had three greek naked dancers on stage along with the girl but also two female on sticks.. THEY did most of the singing, at least the "right" singing since Svetlana can not sing a single note.. During the drum part they were singing and she was just you know, performing crazy..

pre-recorded voices are absolutely forbidden in esc, remember that Croatia got punished in 99 for that and France 08 wanted to have some because it's an electronic song and in audio they are fake voices, but EBU refused so he had to pick last minute some chorus who didn't even know the song :shrug: and then he put beared on them :P

oh for god's sake I KNOW THAT.. i DID mean "greek costume" i tried to make fun of the fact that Ukraine did a very poor show by mixing everything together, the iron wheels, the stick people, the "greek" guys... god why is it every time someone says the word "greece" or "sakis" there's always someone to scream at you??

we ALL know that they did not come from Greece.. shich is a shame, for they were MUCH hotter than sakis.. i guess ukrainian guys were hotter than greek ones in esc 09.. get real

True, but it's not made up by me. I based my information on the information of another website.

Hm, I want to bring some hot news from Turkey :) Turkish Electro-POP singer and new generetion's pop icon Hande Yener thinks to participe in 2010. She said '' I would give a magical show from the stage. I'm confident with myself. I want to break some traditional rules of Eurovision.'' 

 So we're so close to see Hande Yener as Turkey's Eurovision represantor in 2010. Coz TRT always offered her but she didn't accept any of them last 3 years.  This time Hande Yener wants to participe obviously.

well let me be the first to react.. i never thought she'd do it!!
i really think that Turkey keeps being THE country to surprise us after all.. one year it sends pop typical horrors (2007, 2009) and some other years it surprises us with just one of the best (2008 and maybe 2010).. I like her music because it IS pop but with a twist, and indeed she'd make a big live and definitely something to remember! i hope she does not go TOO pop like many artists feel like doing at esc! something to watch for!!

FINLAND 2010, selections rules revealed!

The Finnish national broadcaster YLE has revealed the rules for the selection of the national entry for the 55th Eurovision Song Contest in Oslo in May 2010. The first section of process starts already this week, when demos are accepted for a new open selection that will take place via the YLE website. The main emphasis will still be on invited artists. The Finnish national final will take place on 30th January 2010.

Euroviisut gave us these past four years amazing songs, not always huge shows, but still good enough to watch (last year in Tampere's studios it felt a little bit like done quickly and overlooked..) let's hope Finland will make a smash next year!
