There's something I'm not sure of and I hope that someone here will clear it up for me. The artists we chose when submitting songs should represent their country of origin or the ESC country they performed for at esc ?

Yes that's right! For example Nana Mouskouri was representing Luxembourg in ESC in 1963. It means that she will also represent Luxembourg in EAC, even if she is Greek.

Same for example with Geir Rönning - he is Norwegian, but because he was representing Finland, he will also represent Finland in EAC.

So if I was to pick Connect-R (just an example) he'd be representing Moldova in EAC even though he's Romanian ?

Im in for the first edition (for now) : EAC 1 - Romania (that if Adrian didn't pick the same artist for EAC 2 already).

Yeah Connect-R would represent Moldova AFAIK :)
