Actually a duet between Mihai and Sistem has the bigest chances to give to Romania the victory. Anyway, you will love Luminita's song. It has a great message and the performance will be great.  :yes: I see a good place at Oslo if Luminita will win our selection. The jury will vote for it and the performance will convince and the public.  :)

sistem and mihai could be cool
but anyway what does that mean good message? im not fond of that expression already.. she has strong vocals and make good lives but her NF 05 show was terrible and disgusting and she forgot her line like an amateur! Mihai and Nico were better that year..

The final version of Save their lives is ready! I will post it tomorrow. In 2005 Luminita was less than a week to prepare that song, I guess that less than 3 days. Sistem invited her in last days to join to the project. From this reason the show was like it was. And I don't know what people saw on internet, but at my tv set she sang good. It is truth that she forgot in one moment the lyrics, but in so less time... This time is another project for which she works from few months, it is a more bigger project. You will see in few hours about what I talk. Until then I can post the link for the song "Baby", composed by Mihai Alexandru (Romania 2003). The version with Renee Santana was much much better, it was my 2nd favorite. Only that Alexa is not so strong, I don't know what, but something is missing with Alexa:

I can't see the connection between Michael Jackson and the Eurovision Song Contest ... am I missing something here?  ::)
Plus ... since when Eurovision voters fall for such messages that actually do have a strong meaning? I have yet to see it happening this century.   :shrug:,

Luminita might win our NF but this song, no matter how good it is, has nothing to do with either esc or Romanian music scene ... can't see it representing the kind of music Romanians like or listen to .

i hate the so called "big messages" they often tend to be a tiny bit cliché and too full of good intentions and I'm not really into that, but we can't say that "we don't agree" with Luminita's song.. Anyway Rely, France 2002 had quite strong lyrics on peace and we did get 5th in French !!

Musically Luminita's song (and Toni Tomas & Adrian Piper's let's not forget) is by far the strongest
i'm not sure i'd fall for it and its lyrics tend to annoy me more than anything else

France 2002 was underrated imho! I wouldn't compare the 2 messages either.
I agree with Luminita's message (who doesn't) but that's not the point here. I also like Tony's voice very much. Still ... that's about all I can say about their song.

On the other hand, I still remember Tony's entry from 2006 ... The Universe was my personal no1 in that NF, ranking even higher than Tornero in my 2006 NF chart .  :)

Yea what a let down from Luminita.... :shrug:
When u had a good placing at eurovision whats the reason coming back with something worse(like Rouvas did....).
At a Saturday night with friends noone cares for messages(maybe the juries will though cause Greece has done well with songs having a msg at the 90's).
Eventhough iam not amazed of the song it seems the best lets wait for the stage appearance.....!!!

i really liked the universe too! anyway my fave of the romanian songs known so far is (again, like in 08 "runaway" but his 09 song "stop" was a letdown) Catalin Josan closely followed by Luminita inc.

Tina G and Alexandra Ungureanu are my faves. :) I'm a big fan of Keo so I'm cheering for Tina G song. :)

I'm also a huge fan of Paula Seling but her songs aren't good. :cry:

There's a few songs I like so Yay!! I can't wait. :biggrin:

the final so far is much stronger than last year's.. at least in the preview videos i had many good surprises let's hope they don't kill it live !

Not my fave but the ones i liked before the show didn't perform as well. I love Paula and the song is OK so YAy I'm happy with the choice. :biggrin:

some very good songs had terrible live "Love is war" was great in the promo video but terrible live.. The best overall was Catalin Josan, the better song with a great live.. He should give up, he's always third :doh:

well this year is really all about norway : norwegians are in so many countries as song writers, singers.. not a bad song but nothing special

Ovi, with his real name Ovidiu Cerneuțeanu, was born 35 years ago in Botoșani, Romania. He lived here until 18 yo when he gone in Norway. Half from his live was lived here, plus that he is 100% Romanian, I will not say about him that is more Norwegian than Romanian.  ;D
