THEMES WE HAVE HAD SO FAR

Hello everyone!  :)

Because the winner of every edition may decide the next theme, here is the list of the themes which are already used. This list may also help you to discover new possible themes.

ETC 1 - Songs Which Makes Us Happy (Niko)
In this edition you were asked to send a song which makes you happy.

ETC 2 - S-songs (Niko)
The title of every song had to begin with letter S

ETC 3 - Songs About Sky, Heaven, Earth And Things Connected To Them (Ijm123)
Songs about sky, heaven, earth and their creations were allowed to send to this edition.

ETC 4: Latin Pearls (Centrix)

This edition was only for ETC entries from Spain, Portugal, Italy, San Marino, France, Switzerland,   (Italian, Rhetoromanian and French entries) and Romania.

ETC 5: From Zero To Hero(Dartacan)

Only those songs which scored a total zero in the ESC final were allowed here.

ETC 6: Home Sweet Home (Diggiloo)
Everyone could join this edition with a song which was participated by the country that was hosting ESC.

ETC 7: Back To The Roots (Dartacan)
every song  had to be one which was reflecting the country's own traditional music.

ETC 8: Chamber of Horrors (Danijel)
In this edition were competing the songs which was hated by the person who sent it to this edition. The more people hated a song, the more points they gave it.

ETC 9: Not Anymore With Us (ESCFollower)

Here we were competing with songs from countries which at the moment are no more in ESC: Austria, Italy, Luxembourg, Monaco, San Marino and Yugoslavia. 

ETC 10: Both Ways (Niko)
Singer had to also play an instrument in this edition.

ETC 11: We Are The Winners (ESCFollower)

As the title says, Eurovision winners were competing here about the victory.

ETC 12: Schlagers and Europop Songs (Nathan7)
The title tells it all.....

ETC 13; All Those Lovely Ballads (Totti)
And so does it tell here.

ETC 14: Debutant Show (Remy)
For this edition everyone had to send a song which was the first entry of the country it was representing.

ETC 15: All By Myself (Martial)
The singer had to be also the composer and lyricist of the song.

ETC 16: Songs For Us Who Don't Get The Message When It Is Said Only Once (Nikky)

This edition was for songs which had one word at least 2 times in the title.

ETC 17: All About Love (Remy)

The best lovesongs of Eurovision were competing here about the victory.

ETC 18: Out There On Our Own (Ijm123)
For the songs where the singer was alone on the stage without any co-singers, instrumentalists, dancers, backing up choire etc.

ETC 19: From Top To Bottom (Westendpad)

This edition was based on the voting. There were songs which got 12 points from a country and the country which was voting next gave it a big fat zero.

ETC 20: Tell Me Your Name (Niko)
For ESC entries where there is a human name in the title.

ETC 21 - Best For Last (Jirka.cz)
For this edition you were asked to send songs which were the last ones in the draw.

ETC 22 - Let's Combine Those Voices (bURN)
This edition was for duets.

ETC 23 - The Stage Belongs to Men (Karel)
Here were allowed songs with only men on the stage. No songs with female co-singers, backing up singers, instrumentalists, dancers etc allowed.

ETC 24 - Are You Sure This Is Your Place? (Niko)
This edition was for songs which are not considered as typical ESC songs either due to melody or lyrics - or performance. Also songs which are too good for ESC were allowed here.

ETC 25 - All kinds of objects (Niko)
In this edition were competing ESC songs which had in the title a not living object (for example clothes, merry-go-rounds, glasses etc.

ETC 26 - Sun, moon, stars, day and night (Centrix)
One of the words mentioned in the title had to be in the song title.

ETC 27 - Are you happy or sad? (Westendpad)
Songs which make people happy or sad

ETC 28 - The Unlucky draw nr 2 (Dartacan)
Everyone knows that songs which got nr 2 in draw have never won ESC. so this edition was for those unlucky songs.

ETC 29 - Alternative ESC (Danijel)
Rock, jazz. soul, folk and new wave in ESC

ETC 30 - Three figures (Ijm123)
Songs which scored 100 pts or more in ESC final

ETC 31 - Have you changed your nationality? (Remy)
Singers who were born outside of Europe or who were not representing their own countries in ESC

ETC 32 - Welcome to Benelux (Andrey)
ESC songs from Belgium, The Netherlands and Luyembourg

ETC 33 . The Fives (ESCFollower)
Songs from 1956, 1957, 1958, 1959, 1965, 1975, 1985, 1995 and 2005

ETC 34 - Soviet Bazaar (Andrey)
Songs from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Estonia, Georgia, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Russia and Ukraine

ETC 35 - Start as we mean to go on (Ijm123)
Songs which were performed as nr 1 either in final or in semi-final of ESC

ETC 36 - Geographical songs (AndreyI
Songs with real or imaginary geographic name in the song title

ETC 37 - Say a word (Westendpad)
Songs with only 1 word in the title

ETC 38 - Stuck in the middle (Corlagol)
songs which finished 11th/12th/13th/14th in ESC 1978 - 2011

ETC 39 - Life and being (Gerly)
Songs which have in the title either the word life, live, living etc or to be (including am, is, are, has/have/had been etc.)

ETC 40 - This makes me feel sad (Danijel)
Songs which makes you feel sad or bad - or which gives you negative vibes.

ETC 41 - I am also a songwriter (Rapsodia)
Songs where the singer has also participated in songwriting

ETC 42 - Let's rock! (Martial)
Rock songs in ESC

ETC 43 - Eurovision fauna and flora (ESCFollower)
ESC songs, which have either animal or flower/plant in the song title!

ETC 44 - Golden memories (Martial)
songs that represent everyone's first great ESC memory

ETC 45 - Boys and Girls (Nikky)
songs which have boy, girl, woman, man, lady or sir in  the title.
