I have to say that this is a shockingly bad selection of songs :doh:.  No wonder my top songs of all time are all by women singers if this is what the men have to offer.  Will wait for the replacement song to see if my top 10 changes any (I didn't vote for Serafin so at the moment it doesn't matter too much to me).

 :scratch: Surprised to not see Italy 1990 in here   :D  At least I had hopes at Rapsodia to send it  :D  ....... I never thought about it until now or else I would have used it .  ^-^  Toto Cotugno is an Idol in Italy but not bigger than Albano Carissi or Umberto Tozzi ....... However Toto has created an Italian Anthem with the song L'Italiano(Lasciarte Me Cantare ) ..... Every Italian any age sings that song also Insieme 1992 became hit in Italy for a long time and still is .  :hi5:

Didn't he have 2 female backing singers?  Therefore (thankfully) not eligible for this edition

even though i agree this isnt a great edition, i tend to like men's vocies better most of the times and though I do have more female esc winners, the past two decades men's have done better (my winners in 93, 94, 00, 01 (all men in my top 3!!!), 04, ,05, 06, 10 (all men in my top 5!!!), almost half of my winners)

let's not forget some esc years like 2006 where we also had 5 of the top 6 entirely of men (Carola was indeed the best ranked female singer)
