I just came home in a terrible hail storm, with thunders and lightnings

: . The storm started out of the blue and it's still raining now with horrible thunders.
Some trees destroyed several cars in Bucharest because of the heavy storm.

All we see at TV now is that we have such storms all over Romania atm. In Piatra Neamt people are calling 112 like crazy asking for help.

We had high temperatures recently (30°+ in May

We have here in Finland a lovely summer weather. Sun is shining - yesterday we had + 32 here in Tampere and today "only" + 26 - but starting from tomorrow evening we are getting heavy rains from south-east. $:-\$

We're having lovely weather here in the UK too at the moment. Although it's going to get a bit cooler by the end of the week.

Finland was yesterday the warmest country in the whole Europe.

The average temperature in Southern and Central Finland was + 27.5 C!

Even in Finnish Lapland the temperature was around + 22 C.

Just guess if I liked that heat.

For us it's nothing like, yee swimming time. We will have that kind of weather in Saturday I think

And I'm going to our winter capital Otepää, where is the most hot (almost) in Summer too. It promised +23 - +25

It's really nice weather here. It's warm and the sun shines all day.
I went to the beach last three days and I swimmed in the sea (which is pretty cold this time of the year).

I love to go to the beach.

The weather is here nice as well, sunny and shiny and I have been swimming in the near by lake several times now.

But it is not too hot here.

I just saw that some thick dark clouds are coming closer and closer. They have promised occasional showers and also thunder for this afternoon, so maybe that starts now then.

Talking about the weather ... after several days of extreme heat the weather turned really weird in Bucharest ... it's raining night after night here.

Thousands of people were already evacuated in eastern Romania as rain-swollen rivers have overflowed, hundreds of houses were destroyed and 25 people (as far as we know) died because of the storms and floods. The floods have affected a third of the country so far. Unfortunately we're not expecting better news in the near future.
Soldiers and emergency workers are trying to stop the waters advance. Prime Minister Emil Boc was attacked with eggs and tomatoes in Galati yesterday, in his attempt to visit the damaged area. People are desperate but they didn't give up hope yet ... they're receiving donations from all over Romania. Some of them accuse the authorities for not taking proper actions to prevent the catastrophe, especially now when Danube and Siret rivers are threatening to destroy everything in their way.

+ 33 C in shadow right now in Tampere - even in Southern Lapland it is + 30 C. I just checked that the temperature on my balcony, where sun is shining, the temperature is + 54 C!

How much I am waiting for rain! Couldn't you Relyana please blow a little bit stronger towards the rain clouds so that they could come faster here.

Right now we have here -26 C and the wind is blowing a lot, which makes it feel even much colder,
