Romania's entries in ESC have been very unstable - I hope it is the right word. Since 1994 there has been some really nice entries, but mostly I have not liked them.
The most horrible crap was 2004, when that "singer" in her "harberdasher dress" tried to "sing".
Other more or less bad songs are 2005, 2007 and 2009.
Then we have year 2003: The song itself is not bad - but now comes the huge BUT. I can't stand the voice of the singer. Her voice is so much strained, that it hurts my ears and soul.
The rest of the songs are very nice or quite nice. To quite nice section belongs 1904 and 2000 - the rest, 1998, 2002, 2006 and 2008 are very nice, because the singers are good and songs are great.
I think my all time Romanian favorites are 1998 and 2002.
And now I can see that Finland has given votes to Romania only in 2006.
