I listened to it a couple of days ago....and promptly forgot everything about it   Nothing special at all.

Also there's a good chance it will be in English for ESC.

For those who do care for esc and follow it enough, you'll notice that this song is written by the SAME composers than  the other albanian esc songs. These authors and composers always win the Festival I Kenges and the audience in Albania is very tired of this corruption. The juries ALL gave 20pts (the maximum) to Juliana Pasha while she only got 13pts (8th) by the audience. But of course it was too late to win for the audience favorites. Kinda getting boring to always hear the same composers from Albania.

Very good point Morgan!  :worry:

it's not that I hate the song, it was even pretty high in my albanian list, but it's just that there was no suspense. I said before hand that Juliana was going to win and she did. She came 3rd and 2nd with two great songs and her good singing. She wanted to win so she hooked up with the composers who always win with the juries and there she went. Another composing team always comes second as well except twice. The only exception is also the best Albanian esc song imo (2006). I didn't notice it myself until 2008 and the big scandal of the juries going for the same composers over and over again while the big favorites only came second. So the juries in 2009 voted for the song written by the composing team who got second in 2008. It's all a big round circle and the albanians I talked to online were just tired of this.

It doesn't take away the quality or lack of quality to the albanian songs at the eurovision song contest, nor their diversity but still, how diverse can the songs really be? it's a shame we don't get to hear something really different from Albania.

Yea i saw the final......
The best song for me was "ARIA" but Denisa wasnt so good for it.....
Anjeza had the best package for eurovision IMO...!
The winner was an obvious top5 mostly cause of her strong vocals but for sure it was a FIXED result....seems Albania will put televoting when they get into EU  ::)
This "package" says nothing to me loved Frederik/2006 alot better than this...!

Some albanians might be happy with this year's outcome, you know?  ;)

The one who screams louder is not always the one who is also right. The Romanian selections (read scandals) for example are a living proof that sometimes the right artists win the NF in unfortunate moments to say so. And still those artists really deserve to represent their country at esc.

That's much better and I found her voice very very good.  :goodjob: She is not beautiful, but how she looks there is ok for the song.

she's getting better and better and so is the song but her accent still makes it "funny" and i'm quite sure Europe will notice.. but a strong pop will be needed on the top 5 and since there arent that many could it be Albania? I personally doubt it but I tend to now see her in the final

Albania 2010

Who will represent Albania at the Eurovision Song Contest 2010?
Again a young Idol singer?
 :nonono:

It’s time now for a professional singer.

The best choice for Albania could be Juliana Pasha or Besa Kokedhima.
:good:

Finally she did it! I’m so happy to see Juliana representing Albania. Definitely she is one of the best singer in Albania.
Pity that she won FiK with her worst song. She had much better songs in 2007, 2008.

Anyway the final version is great but still not good enough for her strong vocals…

Martial, you are wrong here. The team of Juliana, Ardit Gjebrea composer and Pirro Cako lyricist have never been before to ESC.
I’m sure you are thinking about the famous team Adrian Hila – Pandi Laco. They wrote the Albanian entries in 2005, 2007, 2008.
This time they wrote the song ‘Aria’, sung by Denisa Macaj.

Juliana’s team is totally another team.

Ardit Gjebrea won FiK in 1991 and in 1995 as singer. In 2000 he won FiK as a composer of the winning song ‘Ante i tokes sime’ sung by Rovena Dilo.
Pirro Cako composed the winning song in 1988 ‘E duam lumturine’, sung by Parashqevi Simaku and many other songs that reached top 3.
Both of them are big names in the Albanian music industry.

Juliana had to win this year, not because she had the best song but the same jury stopped her twice!

thank you for correcting me.. I did hear it was fixed and know how the same composers kept winning over and over again but it's sad that albanians tell us online BEFORE the contest who is going to win only based on the juries..

though they try to make it so that someone diff wins every time, but that also meant that Kejsi or Anjeza had no chances this year, and that's a bit sad. It should be a song contest not a juries pick of singer, composer or writer..

the English version sure does not help, and it went jazzy for a while, now back to electro pop, she cant make up her mind and this lacks a real identity..

Again a little correction:
There was no jazzy version, my friend. Probably you saw that demo version where Juliana Pasha got the English lyrics and sung there for the first time the English version. They only played piano there, just to hear the English lyrics.

I think the English version is helping this a lot. Many people who hated this, like or love  it now.
I am happy the cheap sound (original version) from the song is out.
I’m very sure she will surprise us in Oslo with her vocals.

Nothing special Albanian Entry this year  . I would have Prefered Mariza Ikonomi , Pirro Cako or ednri and Stefi in a duet with Renis Gjoka and also Iris Hoxha . Those4  particular song would have done very good in eurovision . Listen to them in here
