Thank you, Niko  Great that you like this idea.  :)

You can give your awards here. This thread is not meant as a voting, but to take a look at each others choices.

i don't think best postcard should be an award, most of the times the singers don't get to chose anyway (remember the insulting cliché postcards in 79 or 84)
on the other hand "best backing singers" should be included
i also did the esc awards in the past, though i kinda forgot who were my winners in each category

i also think we should nominate three names per category and put in bold the one we vote for ! :goodjob:

It's a nice idea to turn this into a contest. The only problem is that there are too many choices, so the chance is little that we get a winner in each category.

true, true, but still.. if we all nominate our three faves.. then it's 1pt per nomination but 2 if it's our "winner" (the one we would chose, in bold as i said), then we can see who gets the most pts ?

That is a good idea. I think it's best if everyone send their choices to me and that I will publish the results here after a few weeks.

On the other hand: it might be boring to wait long for the results. Maybe it's better if everyone write down their choices in this thread.

Thank you, Morgan & Niko, for giving your list!  :)

I think that three choices will be enough. I'm thinking about my own list now.  ;)

p.s.: You don't have "Best Postcard".

i already stated clearly i was against best postcards award since each entries do not get to chose their postcards (a lot of critiques on cliché about countries were made in 79 or 84 for instance)

on the other hand we could vote for best preview videos ? (i have them all in my computer lol insane i know) but they're all in youtube too i think

For 1988, this are the Awards:

Best Vocal Performance, Male
Best Vocal Performance by a Duo or Group
Best Lyrics
Best Stage Performance
Best Dressed Singer
