This is pretty enigmatic for me. It will either do very well in May or bomb dramatically.

But one day the old lovers long for more
Dreams and desires of another youth
And they leave their families, betray their friends
They don't want advice about how to be happy

Ok on the positive side it's not another ballad. On the negative side it's just another dance song with no lyrical content whatsoever.
Conclusion. i don't completely hate it but I don't like it either. Mid ranker, nothing special. :P

At least it's not another boring ballad. I like it actually. :)

Difficult to rate this song  :worry:

It's an average song. I don't think that it will get many points in Oslo.

Very difficult to decide before hand and especially since we did not get a single live performance of it yet.

Jessy being a professional dancer, maybe for the first time ever France will have a huge pop performance, which is something quite nice to hope for.

Many people, especially in France, have been mad that the song designed to promote the Soccer World Cup would go to esc, like if it were a bad thing, like admitting that they did not care for Eurovision. That's not true at all : if Eurovision matters, then it should be a place to promote songs and young singers, and FR3 definitely hopes for some good vibes to cover around it so that it becomes a French summer hit. The song is very like what the young french people tend to listen to, and it's not a swedish ABBA like entry like Iceland or Denmark, so that will change a bit, and its summery and happy mood is not what France used to send : for the third year in a row France keeps looking for different and interesting entries that Eurovision is not used to, i am quite proud of that. The song is listenable, but the lyrics are a mess. Only a strong live can save it, but in a year of ballads, why not ? Yet the juries will probably not vote for it, unlike Patricia.

I have it around 15th so far, like bookmakers.

Hard to say... but I think there is a chance it could do really well,  with a great stageing  that captures the public obsession with soccer...  not a great song at all but it could just "capture the moment"

Just like Morgan said in The Netherlands thread, I must say that maybe I am too old fashioned to like this. :(
