well since Norway ignored the masterpiece called "Ride" by Tine Wulff in second semi I'm very mad. Well Publiners will be in final after second chance, so that's a relief. The third best entry is "Fairytale" by Alexander Rybak which we ALL know is going to win anyway. It will be a good esc entry, and one to seriously consider for the title! But he still needs to improve his live..

I really liked KeSera that was some good rap, very well performed! Too bad Norway missed it too!

out of my personal top 4, three were in the top 4  :P Who said Norway's taste was bad after all, even though the very best was totally underrated ("Ride" by Tine Wulff) but glad to see Tome's "Butterflies" (my 4th, ending 2nd), Publiners' "Te Stein" (my 3rd, ending 4th) and of course Alexander Rybak with "Fairytale" was my runner-up and he won by a HUGE landslide (7times more pts than his runner-up)

Enjoy one of the very hugely best 2009 songs so far

My No 1 so far. Congratulations Norway for a great choice ... did they have better songs in their NF?  :o

The weird thing is that this is the kind of song I would've expected from ... Ireland !

At the risk of being the odd one out - I just don't get this one at all yet .  I'll give it a few more listens and it may grow on me but at the moment it sounds all rather messy to me :-[

I'm inclined to agree, usually this would be kind of my style, but I can't really see the fuss about Norway yet. Maybe it will improve by ESC though.

i see this as the winner or for sure top3!
Its catchy and the guy plays so well with the cameras...
He will speak Russian he will get votes from ex-soviet countries and not ONLY
Alot of Greeks already like it its the most played entry here with Turkey and Spain...
9/10!

i was SURE a country outside Eastern Europe was gonna win this year(the one with the entry which will be most liked and this one seems to be it....).

Nope  Still don't get why everyone is going mad about this one :-[.  The instrumental parts are great...but the lyrics are cheesy and his vocals are average at best

Why? - what is it with Rybak that will make people vote for it because at the moment I just don't see or hear anything that screams winner to me.

Romania in top 5?

I mean, I'm pretty sure Greece won't be a top 5-er either... but Romania? Not a chance (and I prefer by far Romania to the greek entry).
Chiara has competition this time around, but well, she has pulled it off in the past... we'll see.

I think that only Malta can stop Norway to win. Patricia Kass will be voted by the jury and old people. Greece and Romania are entries which sounds similar with previous years top 5 and even winners. The jury will can not vote totally different than public choice. They will vote for songs like France, but also for songs like Greece and Romania. Chiara was always voted by the public for top 3 and I think that the jury will vote good for Chiara. From this reason I think that Malta is the only one who can stop Norway to win. I put all the videos at my work  :-[ and all the people liked the most Rybak. All said that he is far away better than the others. Plus that Rybak represent a Nordic country (not Eastern) and is more similar with what songs won in our century. The jury will not dare to change to much this line.

wait.. sakis and elena sound like Lordi, Marija or Dima? Did we even watch the same show last years? Did you take in consideration that juries are back? Did you consider that Malta's song is absolutely dull in comparison to CHiara's previous entries?

I agree that Rybak is fresh, bright, cute, twink smile and look, big live, the idea of violin drives everyone insane or close to it, and the song is indeed the typical nordic folk song, which people always love (do we have to remind that Norway's biggest success came with a violin already).. To me he's got the biggest chances to win too, but I know that the one with the biggest chances almost never win and even with a disappointing live can be killed!

Sakis was once 3rd and songs like It's our night and Balkan girls were always on top 5 even if not always winners. Ani Lorak was 2nd and Kalomira 3rd last year. Sakis song remind me Ani Lorak's song and Elena reminds me Kalomira even if Elena is more beautiful and has a more acceptable voice than Kalomora.  I didn't forget by the jury... I already gave an explanation. They will not vote totally different by public. When I said that Malta can win was because there will be and jury. When I said That Patricia will be top 5 I said that thinking at jury. We can't compare Fayritale with one of the most beautiful songs I ever heard (Nocturne), but also we can not compare 1995 with 2009.

Look i believe this will be a surprise year (cause of the jury - cause countries will leave if east wins again....so dont be sure for anything.....).
We saw a surprise last night at Sweden
Different votes for international jury
Swedish jury :o
Televoting  :worry:
(i mean really DIFFERENT...).
I just feel sure for Norway ATM cause a few times hearing it ...it has that "something" which East will like(first of all i dont know if that music is known at Norway  :o...for me it reminds me Russian music and less Irish BUT noway Norway...).Thats a plus cause he will have 2 blockvoting areas behind him and he will  appeal at juries ALSO....thats how i see it).

??? - I still have absolutely no idea whatsoever why anyone can consider this to be a potentially winning song.  I've been watching ESC for 30 years and this just doesn't have that "winners" feel to it
