The jury votes of the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 have been revealed today.
Telenor Arena: The 2010 venue?

The Eurovision Song Contest 2010 is, according to sources, being held in Telenor Arena, a newly built indoor arena in Fornebu, Oslo.
The venue can hold up to 23,000 people in concert mode, around the same capacity as the Olimpiysky Arena in Russia had for this years contest. Famous band AC/DC, who played in the arena during their 2009 Black Ice tour, have performed on stage here.
The owners of the stadium are football team Stabaek Fotbal, who opened the stadium on 8th March 2009 as their new home pitch, with it primarily being used as a football stadium.

The full semi final results of Eurovision 2009 have been revealed. Semi final one was won by eventual runner up Iceland, while semi final two was won by eventual winner Norway.

The winner of Eurovision Song Contest 2009 is now known! Congratulations to Norway's Alexander Rybak who won the contest with a magnificent new record breaking points total of 387.
Another 10 advance to final

Last night, Semi final two of the Eurovision song contest was held in Moscow, as 19 countries battled it out for 10 precious final spots.
Croatia opened the show, with Igor Cukrov and Andrea singing their song "Lijepa Tena". The ballad was performed by the two of them, whilst surrounded by dancers in white.
Next up was pop-rock number "Et Cetera" representing seven times song contest winners Ireland. The song was performed by Dublin girl Sinead Mulvey, with rock band Black Daisy performing on stage along side her.

Last night, the first semi final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 was held in Moscow, Russia. Events kicked off last night at 23:00 local time (21.00 CET), and in all lasted approximately 2 hours. 18 songs battled it out in Moscow for 10 final places.
First up was Andrea from Montenegro performing her uptempo number "Just Get Out Of My Life". She was accompanied on stage by a lone dancer, while the background was primarily purple and blue.
Donna and Joe in Irish reality show

Eurovision stars Donna and Joseph McCaul are participating in Ireland's newest reality TV show "Failte Towers".
The Westmeath duo participated in Eurovision 2005 with their pop number "Love?" penned by Karl Broderick. It finished in 14th place in the semi final in Kyiv, with the duet failing to qualify from the semi final.
Moldova : Zdob si Zdub released from hospital after car accident

Roman Iagupov, Valeriu Mazilu, Mihai Gîncu, Victor Dandeş, Anatol Pugaci and Sergiu Vatavu, members of the moldovan band Zdob si Zdub have been injured in a serious car crash in the night between Friday and Saturday in Chişinău, Moldova, while they were heading to start their European tour in Kiev, Ukraine.
The band's minibus was hit by a Volkswagen Sharan whose driver was highly drunk (so was the woman that was travelling with him).

10 yrs old Madalina Lefter from Iasi and 11 yrs old Andrada Popa from Bucharest will represent Romania at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Limassol , Cyprus on November the 22nd.
The girls have just won the Romanian jESC NF minutes ago with the song "Salvati Planeta" (Save the Planet).
They came first in the jury votes (President of the Jury was Luminita Anghel - ESC Romania 2005) and second in the televote.
Georgia Dascalu was the winner of the public with 834 votes and came second in the jury votes.

Tonight Ireland decides its participants for the Eurovision Dance Contest

Kelly Smith and Richard Rock
The winners of the National Final and representing Ireland in Glasgow 2008 are Dearbhla Lennon and Gavin O'Fearraigh. They won with their fusion of Irish traditional and Latin dancing. Good luck to the duo in Glasgow!
