Eurovision Song Contest 1960 - London, United Kingdom

The 5th Eurovision Song Contest was the first to be hosted by the BBC and the first to be hosted by Katie Boyle, who went on to host the contest 3 further times. In the largest contest ever, Norway became the latest country to join the contest. A respectable start for the Norwegians would show no sign of what would happen to them in the future. The winning song was sung by the daughter of Jacques Pils who had finished last the previous year representing Monaco.
